You should upgrade to a newer version of Symantec Protection Engine before the EOS date. * End of Service (EOS) represents the date after which Broadcom no longer provides maintenance services or updates to the mentioned Symantec Protection Engine version. The following table lists the End of Service (EOS) dates for each version of Symantec Protection Engine. Customers should anticipate that a newer version will be released before the EOS of the latest version listed on the table below. This article does not imply that the highest version in the table below will be the last release or that the product as a whole is End of Life (EOL). The intent of this KB article is to serve as an End of Support (EOS) notice for current and former versions of our software. This notice is provided to ensure that customers are aware of these dates to allow sufficient time to plan for the next version of the software.
